Sometimes life can feel like you’re living in a dry desert.
Uncomfortable.
Gritty.
Languishing.
Yearning for anywhere else.
UGLY.

Yet, God often performs His greatest work in ugly circumstances.
The Lord teaches, refines, purifies, and develops. We cannot go around the dessert times, we must go through them. Because, it’s in the desert we understand what and whom we are depending. And in the desert we learn to persevere despite not feeling God’s presence or seeing His hand. We learn we can sing to the Lord because He is trustworthy. Our praise is what gives us perspective in the desert and reach our destination.
Press onward. The promised land awaits.
