ALL THINGS UNDER CHRIST’S FEET.

This phrase is like a mantra or mindset for the people of God. People of faith trust that God is supreme and sovereign. Their trust is in God’s power and their confidence in His compassion. The fear of God is not just the beginning of wisdom, but the end of all other fears. Therefore, believing every circumstance is under God feet, and that nothing surprises or thwarts His purposes is defining for one’s identity and outlook.

Let this truth be the ground on which you stand: All things are under the feet of Jesus.

Psalm 110:1 “The LORD says to my Lord: ‘Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.'” (cf Mt 5:35; 22:44; Mk 12:36; Lk 20:42-43; Ac 2:35; Heb 1:13; 1 Kings 5:3)

Isaiah 60:14 “The sons of those who afflicted you will come bowing to you. And all those who despised you will bow themselves at the soles of your feet; they will call you the city of the LORD, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel.”

Romans 16:20 “The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.”

1 Corinthians 15:25 “For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.”

Ephesians 1:22 “And he put all things in subjection under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church”

Colossians 1:18; 2:10 ” He is also head of the body, the church; and he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he himself will come to have first place in everything… in him you have been made complete, and he is the head over all rule and authority

Hebrews 2:8; 10:12-13 “You have put all things in subjection under his feet. For in subjecting all things to him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we do not yet see all things subjected to him… But he, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God, waiting from that time onward until his enemies be made a footstool for his feet.”
