when the flood comes

My little friend today.

But yesterday, and previous months, many have had floods far worse or imagined than our family.

The reality is that you never know what the morning will bring.
How do you prepare for flood waters that come when you’re asleep?
How will you respond when losses pile up and linger for continued cost? And it’s easy to get stuck on the “why” questions.

So, choose your perspective.
Choose gratefulness for provision and support. Choose empathy and prayerfulness for others in their troubles and tragedies.
Choose this day who holds you through struggle and storms.

“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.” -J1:12
