“When the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.” And they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in a manger.” #Luke2:15-16
God speaks through simple moments. For the Nativity shepherds, it was like hundreds of previous nights in a field with smelly and wayward sheep. For Moses, it was a burning bush. For Paul, it was a Damascus road trip. And each responded with a holy haste. What is it for you?

For me, it’s often reading and studying Scripture. Other times it’s conversations with family members and friends. Sometimes it’s cooking a meal or taking a walk outside! So, our greatest takeaway is to listen and be in the lookout for God to speak in the mundane moments.
Speak Lord, for your servant is listening.
