“But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.” ‭‭#Matthew‬1‬:‭20‬ ‭

God spoke to Joseph and Mary in dreams, through conversations with one another, and by faith promises of Scripture. The couple obeyed at every opportunity and saw God’s blessing, even through difficultly.

Lord, you speak in all kinds of ways. Thank you for speaking through Jesus to declare truth and grace. Thank you for preserving your words in Scripture. Thank you for your Holy Spirit to confirm your leading. And thank you for the community of faith to provide and protect your design for our life.
