The gospel of Jesus is not just the starting ABC’s of faith, but the A to Z of the entire journey of faith. We never graduate from the gospel. It comes to us in salvation and transforms us day by day. The gospel is simple for a child to wade, but also deep enough to swim without end.

The Christian is called not just to proclaim the gospel to neighbors and nations, but to preach the gospel to themselves. No one talks to you more than you do, and no one is more influential in your life than your own voice. That is why you need to remind yourself of the greater story that you’re wrapped up. Otherwise, we get lost in the myths and deceptive tales the world tells us.

Our mind is a battlefield and our heart is a war zone. So, above all else, guard your heart/mind, for everything you do flows from it (Proverbs 4:23).
