I have skimmed portions of The Shack and haven’t read the book. I have read a handful of reviews on the book. So, it would not be right of me to give my own review. It does not appear to be a book that provides accurate or biblical insight into the character of God. It may provide insight into the character and pursuits of humanity that may be helpful in relating and ministering with others.
Therefore, I am not advocating or condemning persons for reading the book or watching the movie. However, I can provide a conglomeration of reviews from others who have read and critiqued in respective ways. Below are several that are worthy of insight as you consider your own choice to read the book or watch the movie.
