“You shall season all your grain offerings with salt. You shall not let the salt of the covenant with your God be missing from your grain offering; with all your offerings you shall offer salt.”
Leviticus 2:13 ESV

When you worship and live for God, don’t forget the salt. Why does God command this for worship and sacrifices? Salt was small but it wasn’t insignificant. Salt was used to preserve and flavor food. Saltless food spoiled. So, salt represents enjoyment and fellowship.
Each day we wake up is to be lived with joy and relationship in Jesus. Talk to Him throughout your day. And when we gather in worship, remember we aren’t going through routine motions – we are meeting with God. It’s a relationship.
Stay salty my friends.
