“The Lord’s way is in whirlwind and storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.” Nahum 1:3

My friend, you might be having trouble seeing in the clouds or darkness of your circumstances. Cloudy days or seasons can be challenging and confusing. Yet, know also that clouds are evidence of God’s feet shuffling steps to work in ways beyond our comprehension. God can still see in the dust and dark areas of our life.
When the clouds are hindering our sight, stop moving. Learn to be still and silent before the Lord. Listen for His voice in the dust up of mixed messages. Avoid the footprints that lead to supposed shortcuts and follow the steps that guide you through the valley. Ultimately, His staff may be used for digging up dirt or discipline, but the Good Shepherd is trustworthy. He will lead you through the other side with green pastures, still waters, and refreshing fellowship that fulfills your heart.
“The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.” Nahum 1:7
