#AscensionDay reminds us all things are under the feet of Jesus (Ephesians 1:22). It reminds us we have God’s Spirit to provide an eternal perspective for life’s pressures, problems, and pains (Romans 8:18; 2 Corinthians 4:7). It reminds us we are part of a body – a family – to serve and share faith, hope, and love (1 Corinthians 12-13). Ultimately, it reminds us Jesus is trustworthy on His promises. The same Jesus who came and went, will return again to gather His followers (Acts 1:11). Let us work, witness, and worship while we wait (Hebrews 10:24-25).
