Jesus spent time with disciples, and was known as a friend of sinners. He did not spend all his time in synagogues. He took faith in community settings, public venues, and the marketplace. Jesus was the thermostat, warming the cold and callous, cooling the hot and hardened, and pushing back afflictions. Jesus people are not sitting on the sidelines but sent into to everyday areas of the hurting, the unhelped, and to hopeless scenes. We are salt and light. Go, make a difference, and make disciples.
