When we think of God, sometimes it’s only about His hands – what can/will God give to us?

Other times we think about God’s arms of strength – what can/will God do for us?

Deeper still, when we think of God’s heart, we are asking – does God love us? And especially after a bad day or a struggle with sin, sometimes we doubt.

But what if when we thought about God, we considered His face? God wants to draw us close to see more clearly. He wants His radiant smile to bring contentment and peace. One glance at the face of God is the longing of every soul.

So, until our faith is sight, trust God’s word. And listen to the priestly prayers over us of God’s favor and countenance to guide our journey. The Lord is good, and His steadfast love endures forever.
