Every Sunday is appreciated but some are a little more cherished.

The last Sunday of February was the one year of the first Sunday Pastor Bill Bloomquist led SPBC music as our Pastor of Worship and Connections. We are grateful to God for directing our search and intersecting our ministries with Bill and Mary Ann.

We are thankful for their servant heart to keep our focus on praising Jesus and not musical performances.

We are thankful for their generous hands. Bill’s energy makes him frequently working and finding ways to be helpful with projects and people. Likewise, Mary Ann is generous with her time and serving in a variety of tasks that are presented week to week.

Overall, we are thankful for their kind spirit. The Bloomquist’s are what I call “balcony friends” – they raise you to the next level. They are faithful encouragers and have become cherished friends and a vital part of our church body. We celebrate God’s gift to us through their ministry and presence.
